Naomie Goudal

Naomie Goudal is a practitioner i really admire, her work involves great impact of illusion and drama to her work which you can tell as a viewer the energy and effort that has been put into these structures to be able to create the balance between the truth and fiction of reality. Goudal’s work is mainly exhibited in instalments and involves the audience as in person, the piece becomes interactive as the scenes are on a great scale.

The narrative of Goudal’s work mainly is centred around nature, artifice and isolated places which question the viewer. The artist herself believes that ‘half of the image is built by the viewers own interpretations’ she says she ‘hints at what it could be without being explicit about the era’.
